The Urban Laboratory <\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">develops, deploys and supports projects that have social impact with a keen focus on economic development, health and wellness, and environmental justice.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">The Urban Laboratory <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">is<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"> a collaborative partnership between community stakeholders. This stakeholder group will provide advisory leadership, guidance and support for <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">community focused projects <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">and may consist of non-profit groups, like Worcester Common Ground, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">Stone Soup Community Center<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">, local colleges and universities, such as Becker College, the city of Worcester, and local residents.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Urban Laboratory is a non-traditional educational facility that serves as a co- working space &amp; research- focused, think tank laboratory for local college students to learn and explore the \u201curban environment\u201d and local societal problems as it pertains to metropolitan neighborhoods.
